Aber nicht nur in der Schule und Musikschule, sondern auch in nichtschulischen Bereichen kann Improvisation die imaginative and prescient von Musikmachen als für alle zugängliche "soziale Kunst" einlösen, die unsere erstarrte Musikkultur ergänzt und professionelle und nichtprofessionelle MusikerInnen erfüllt und bereichert.

Reinhard Gagel ist Improvisor/Researcher, Musikpädagoge und aktiver Improvisationsmusiker. Er leitet den Fachbereich Improvisation und Komposition an der Rheinischen Musikschule der Stadt Köln. Als Lehrbeauftragter für Gruppenimprovisation und Didaktik der Improvisation lehrt er an der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien.
