Ehrenamtlich ist er Obmann vom Kulturverein Pertlstein, leitet die Theatergruppe Pertlstein und managt den Vulkanlandchor Pertlstein. Er ist aktives Mitglied der Pfeifenrunde Pertlstein und natürlich auch der Vulkanland-Dichtergilde.
